Cadogan Café

Cadogan Café for Kings Road, London is a collaboration with the Olympic Park landscape designer, Sarah Price. With a unique fusion of planting and architecture, the proposal draws on Chelsea’s heritage of gardens including the Chelsea Physic Garden, Chelsea Flower Show and the borough’s forward-thinking approach to sustainability. Conceived as a simple glass cloche capturing a piece of the Duke of York Square, the Café’s concave roof hangs over a landscape of tall grasses intertwined with its forty slender columns. This project was shortlisted from 300 competition entries submitted to Cadogan Estate.
