International Fashion Showcase 2014Exhibition space design for the International Fashion Showcase 2014, presented by the British Council & British Fashion Council. Selected fashion designers from sixteen countries were exhibited together at 180 Strand, the exciting exhibition venue directly next to Somerset House. The exhibition design takes its palette from the building’s disused office floors – stark, light and textural. Lines, crosses and spirals made from suspended chains of fluorescent strip lights simply stitch together the spaces with light. Seating and display furniture are clad in recycled felt – a grey material marbled with colourful threads from old textiles and garments.
