A collection of bespoke furniture for the influential architecture, interiors and design magazine, Dezeen’s new office in east London.
The Series incorporates shared work tables, a large meeting room table and a monolithic reception desk and is the focal point in an office also designed by the Studio.
The nine work tables are each shared between four people, creating a social setting while giving each person their own side and dedicated workspace. Each table has an oiled, black Valchromat top and black metal legs that are offset from the edge, shifting each workspace off-centre to allow views past the person opposite and giving a clear space behind them.
The tables are laid out in a grid, allowing fluid movement between them and giving each team member a shortcut to every other person in the room. As you enter the space you are welcomed by a dynamic, friendly view of people facing in all directions.
The meeting room table and the monolithic reception desk are variants of the work table design. Each table is flat packed and slots together with a cable tray unit and a small storage pannier.
